Chapter members of District XIV, headed by Director Beverlee Stuart-Borok, went to the Warrior Hope and Care Center (WHCC), on Marine Base Camp Pendleton, to wrap toys and decorate a couple of trees. The WHCC provides counseling, reconditioning, and transitional services for wounded, ill, and injured Marines. Over 300 donated toys were wrapped for Santa’s Workshop. A lot of “cuuuute”, “I luuuve it”, and “I want one” were heard throughout the day. De Anza, Monserate, Linares, Rancho Buena Vista, and Santa Margarita daughters had a wonderful time. The Wounded Warrior Center, started in 2006, is now Wounded Warrior Battalion West with state-of-the-art facilities for America’s best.
