Announcement: Northern Council Canceled!

The decision has been made: Northern Council has been canceled.

The decision to cancel was based primarily upon the uncertainty of being able to gather as a large group, even if the Governor were to lift the “shelter in place” mandate in early May.

The purpose of the Spring Council meetings, when the Officers-Elect are presented, is to give the State Regent-Elect the opportunity, the venue, through which to introduce her administration, her hopes, dreams, expectations, projects, scripture, theme, and, yes, her pin. All this will be done in May…just done in ways that are different and, certainly, new to us. Watch for information about webinars, blogs, and opportunities to purchase the new State Regent’s Project pins…all coming soon.

Too, leave the Backyard Barbecue, Saturday, June 6th, on your calendar. We still have plans for a wonderful celebration. A celebration that brings us together…a celebration that will include recognizing the 2020-2022 leadership teams and will incorporate the installation of all new district boards. Begin making your plans to attend.

Between now and June, continue to do what you are doing to fight the rise and spread of covid-19.

Take care. Stay well.
