The State Society continues to work with Debbie Duay to reschedule her travel in order to have her genealogy workshops in California in October 2020. Venues are confirmed and we expect the dates will be:
October 12th and 13th at the Orange County Family Search Library
October 15th and 16th at the Sacramento Family Search Library

We hope these new dates will be convenient for those who had already registered for a workshop. Working on that possibility we are going to “roll” the reservations for those currently scheduled to attend to the new dates. If you have a reservation but these new dates will not work for you, please, request a refund by emailing Linda Bartolf at HQSecretary@californiadar.org and one will be issued to you. Note: This is a change from the Announcement dated March 17, 2020, when we were unsure of being able to reschedule with Debbie Duay.

Once Dr. Duay’s travel has been confirmed, another Announcement will be released to let everyone know that the event will be on the webstore for additional reservations. We should have travel arrangements confirmed before mid-May. Should her travel not be possible, we will begin the process of refunding to all currently registered.
