On Friday February 21, 2020 the Feather River Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution honored its DAR Good Citizens at a pot luck luncheon held at the First Presbyterian Church in Gridley. The students, from several local high schools, their parents, family members and counselors were invited to attend. Following the luncheon, the students were introduced and their accomplishments were shared with the attendees and the students shared their plans for the future.

This year all entries were young ladies. (Back row left to right) Brianna Brennan, Faith Christian High School; Elizabeth Violet Allan, Live Oak High School; Lauren Cassidy Allen, Marysville High School; (Front row left to right) Mackynze Brooke Beall-Roettger, Oroville High School; Mackenzie Van Valkenburgh, River Valley High School (wrote the winning essay); and Mackenzie Dalton, Yuba City High School. All of these young ladies have a very bright future.
