The Don Jose de Ortega Chapter is pleased to announce a $1000 scholarship available for Spring Semester 2020 for a deserving college student.

We are looking for a junior, senior, or post-graduate student in a field of science, medicine, mathematics, or education, or for a nursing student who has completed at least one semester of a 2 year program. If you have a child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or other friend or family member who might be interested please have him or her contact us at stowerscmte@gmail.com. Please write Scholarship in the subject line of the email.

The instructions and forms will be mailed or emailed to the applicant, and applications must be returned by February 29, 2020. The recipient does not have to be in DAR, and the selection committee is willing to consider applicants in other majors who have a commitment to serving their communities.
