Chapter Chatter: Mohave Chapter Hard at Work Before First Official Chapter Meeting

Even before our first official meeting of the 2019-2020 year, our Mojave chapter is already hard at work.

In August, the Anniversary Planning Committee could be found brainstorming ideas for our 95th Anniversary in February 2020.  Lots of great ideas were tossed around; it will be exciting to see the finished program. There will be more to come.

On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, eight Mojave Daughters provided a delicious meal and fellowship to the residents of Fisher House in Long Beach.  Fisher House is a beautiful facility providing shelter for family members who have loved ones in the Veterans Hospital next door.

In attendance were:  Dory Fisher, Bonnie Krider, June Edwards, Lois Daybell, Robin Chimino, Sara Clark, Debbie Stein and Kathleen Maisch. Mojave Daughters visit Fisher House on the first Wednesday of each month.

In recognition of Constitution Week, our Chapter Regent, Judith Baxter, and her daughter, Melinda Baxter, along with Hillary White created a lovely display in the Fullerton Public Library (photo above).
