On June 7, 2019 the Wagon Train arrived in Pollack Pines and Daughters from the El Dorado chapter were there to greet them. This was the Highway 50 Associations 70th annual historical reenactment of the “Great Western Migration.”

We mingled with the Pioneers and those that came to wish them well. We handed out flags, patriotic stickers as well as red, white and blue necklaces to the community while we shared information about NSDAR and our own local El Dorado chapter, ending the day with a hand full of perspective members.
