Attending were 89 Daughters and guests.  State Regent Adele Lancaster, Honorary President General Dorla Kemper, Treasurer General Carol Jackson, Honorary State Regents Karon Jarrard and Beverly Moncrieff from California, and Honorary State Regent Lynn Kinsell, Ph.D., from Nevada brought greetings.  State officers in attendance were: State Vice Regent Susan Broderick, State Chaplain Barbara McMahon, State Corresponding Secretary Kristine Wood, State Organizing Secretary Wendy Malone (the event’s presiding officer), State Treasurer Sharon Maas, State Registrar Donna Riegel, State Historian Janice Swayze and State Librarian Linda Winthers.

District II Director Susan Brooking attended and brought greetings.  Other District II officers who attended were Assistant Director Ruth Johnson, Chaplain Sandra Parker, Registrar Betty Crockford and Parliamentarian Cynthia Larson.  National and State Chairs, Chapter Regents, Lake Tahoe Chapter associate members, and many CSSDAR members and guests joined in the celebration.

Lake Tahoe Chapter Daughters are grateful to the California State Society and its membership for the warm welcome and for all the support the chapter has received.  The California State Society is alive and well in the High Sierra!
