On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, San Clemente Island Chapter honored Good Citizens from local high schools. Applicants submitted transcripts, letters of reference, extra curricular activities and an original essay.

The DAR Good Citizens award is open to all high school seniors and we are proud of the outstanding entries from our chapter. Award winners included Peyton Gadbury from San Clemente High, Saam Kazemi from Capistrano Valley High, Sarah Glick from Dana Hills High and Chapter and District XII winner, Megan Brooks from San Juan Hills High School.

Each of the students received a pin and a financial award. A luncheon was held at San Juan Hills Golf Club to honor these remarkable students, their advisors and parents.
