Chapter Chatter: Presidio Chapter’s New Board Meet & Greet Kicks Off a Milestone Year

On Sunday, August 12, 2018, founding members of the Presidio Chapter (San Francisco) gathered with active and pending members to get acquainted with new executive board officers and wish them success as they start their terms. Hosted at a member’s home, the purely social event featured a lovely spread of tea and tasty treats.

The event was envisioned as a way to facilitate camaraderie and set the tone for what will be a big year for the chapter: in 2019, members will mark the 10th anniversary of its founding with special events. To support Chapter Regent Maria Damp’s theme of “Honoring Our Past and Shaping Our Future,” the annual Chapter Yearbook was expanded to feature the history of the chapter’s founding, recognition for service men and women
related to the chapter, a list of past Platoon Support & Service Projects, as well as a special In Memoriam section. Members are looking forward to a fabulous party planned for February 2, 2019, when they will celebrate each other and the first ten years of service together.
