Chapter Chatter: Chico Chapter’s National Winner American Heritage ‘Crafts/Paper Crafts’

Chico chapter is very excited and proud of our member, Michele Lehane, who recently won the national American Heritage first place award in the Crafts/Paper Crafts category for her paper crafted garland. The theme was “Exploring America Through The Arts” and her paper garland was on display this year during the 127th Continental Congress at our National Headquarters in Washington DC.

Michele is a very active member of Chico chapter and holds the offices of Chapter Secretary, VIS Chair, and District I Chaplain. She built and maintains the chapter website, Facebook page, writes the monthly newsletter, as well as our District I newsletter. The Chico chapter is so appreciative of the many things Michele does to make a difference in our chapter. The enthusiasm she has for DAR is both sincere as well as contagious. Way to go Michele!  – Shelly Pritchett Rossi, Regent, Chico Chapter NSDAR
