Chapter Chatter: Gold Trail Daughters Visit CA Veterans Home in Yountville with Nick Stanford

On August 2, 2018, Nick Stanford, grandson of Gold Trail Daughter Susie Glover, along with other Gold Trail Daughters visited the Johnson Hall veterans at the CA Veterans Home in Yountville to distribute bags made by sixteen-year-old Nick.  Over the summer, Nick made twenty bags which can be attached to a wheel chair, walker or used as a tote bag as part of his service hours for graduation. Each veteran appreciated being able to select his own bag and offered many thanks and congratulations to Nick.

Nick and will be a junior at Rocklin High School and has served veterans since he was a young child. Nick is truly is a young man MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
