Women’s Resource Center, Oceanside, was the recipient of an early Christmas when Santa Margarita Chapter’s Alida Woodward, Regent, Linda Ramos, Kellie Stafford, Diana Cook and Wanda Prosser delivered a dozen bags filled with toys donated by chapter members. The mother’s were not forgotten. Women’s purses, jackets, toiletries and magazines rounded out the donations. Accepting the gifts were Lauren Stephenson, Development Director, Jill Morgan, Deputy Director, and Brandee Clayton, Special Events Coordinator. Santa Margarita Chapter is one of many Community organizations who contributed toys, enabling the mother’s to pick three items per child. A wrapping party by the mothers ensued and, on Christmas day, 285 children will do their best to destroy that wrapping and see what’s inside. We take pride in knowing that our donations were part of a special day for special people.
