On November 13, 2017, the El Dorado Chapter shipped seven boxes of needed items for the Modesto based 1st Battalion of the 184th Infantry Regiment. The most collected item was 1,875 Q Tips. We want our soldiers to have clean weapons to keep themselves safe. We also collected 11 pounds of old jewelry for Tamassee DAR School children and one box of a beautiful collection of beads was sent to Chemawa Indian School. Regent Cynthia Larson wishes to thank all our members and prospective members who supported our soldiers and DAR supported schools.
