The Antelope Valley Chapter in Lancaster held it’s annual JROTC Awards Luncheon May 6th, 2017. The chapter is honored to award JROTC bronze medals to 8 high school cadets attending schools in and around the Antelope Valley.The awards ceremony was attended by cadets and family members, their instructors and chapter members. Each cadet received certificates and bronze JROTC medals. The instructors did presentations on each of their cadets sharing about their cadets special talents and achievements. A buffet luncheon was provided by chapter members for all.

The JROTC Awards Committee Chair, Mary Thurston, takes great delight in also attending the schools own awards ceremonies to present the medals to each cadet at their ceremonies as well.
