Chapter Chatter: Rancho Buena Vista Chapter Donates Gardens to Adobe

Rancho Buena Vista Chapter members recently planted several container gardens to donate to the historic Rancho Buena Vista Adobe. The chapter continues a tradition of participating in Earth Day events, tree plantings, and educating others about the importance of good Earth stewardship. The speakers this month were Dr. Lisa Yon who presented “Plastics in our Oceans” and member Diane Lach who informed us about “The Importance of Pollinators”. The potted gardens were presented to the Adobe following the chapter meeting. The Rancho Buena Vista Chapter’s conservation & historic preservation committees have actively supported the adobe since 2003.
