During the Northern and Southern Councils 2016 the California State Society DAR Museum Outreach Committee held a raffle to raise funds to adopt a delicate 1820’s muslin dress. Due to the generosity of the California Daughters funds to adopt the dress were raised.

The winner of the Adopt-An-Object raffle was  of the Don Jose Verdugo Chapter. The raffle prize is a lovely necklace from the Tiffany Screen jewelry collection from the White House Historical Association.

We would like to thank all the California Daughters who participated in the raffle for their support of the DAR Museum. Participation in the Adopt-An-Object Program ensures the preservation of DAR Museum’s collection so future generations will continue to enjoy, study, and learn from these objects.
