On Independence Day, Mission Canyon Chapter had a record turnout of 28 patriot daughters and family members participating in the 53rd Annual 4th of July Parade.  We motored down State Street in grand style aboard a festively decorated Santa Barbara Trolley.  We received welcoming applause and cheers as we sang patriotic songs, waved our flags, and shouted “Happy 4th!” to all!  It was a beautiful afternoon and ended with hugs, high-fives, and talks of next year’s parade.  What a wonderful way to celebrate our Nation’s birthday!
