As part of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution’s “Celebrate America”  the Feather River Chapter’s goal to Promote Literacy was achieved by collecting 171 gently used books and magazines and donating them to Pat Ward’s (member holding a book) “Little Library”, also called the Bangor Free Library, in Bangor, a rural area of Butte County.
