California Daughters attending this year’s California Congressional Tea are invited to volunteer and help during the event. The California Tea is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, 2015, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the JW Marriott Hotel, Salon IV. Please note the California Tea is the day before the start of Continental Congress.
Priority will be given to Daughters attending their first Continental Congress or attending their first Congressional Tea and assigned on a first come, first requested basis! Volunteers will serve 30-minute “shifts” starting at 2:30 p.m. This will allow time for all volunteers to enjoy the tea.
Volunteer duties will include directing guests to Salon IV (elevator traffic), reception table (guest book sign in), or pouring tea/coffee. Additional duties may be announced once the schedule is created. A manual will be distributed to volunteers in early June.
