3/14/15 State Conference Afternoon Update:

This morning district and chapter reports continued and the total conference registration numbered 438. Some particular accomplishments mentioned by chapters included Irvine Ranch installing 9 members from the same family during an installation ceremony; Colonel William Cabell holding an awards ceremony that was attended by more than 500 people, 140 of which were children, and with 300 essays submitted to their American History Essay Contest; and La Jolla Chapter having over two dozen Junior members.

During the session, Lisa Fox, State VIS Chair was named Mother of Pages (a.k.a. “The Mop”).

 

 

 

After the session concluded, Daughters enjoyed perusing the exhibit tables and taking a break before the evening festivities.
