“The Wall that Heals” visits Eureka, CA

“The Wall that Heals” – a traveling Vietnam War Memorial Wall half the size of the Vietnam War Wall in Washington, DC – will be visiting Eureka, California from April 2 to April 6, 2015. It will be located on the Bear River Rancheria, 11 Bear Paws Way, Loleta, CA and hosted by the AMVETS Humboldt Bay Post 96. The exhibit will then travel from Eureka to Golden Gate National Cemetery, 1300 Sneath Lane, San Bruno, California, where it can be viewed from April 8 to April 12, 2015.

This is a rare opportunity for DAR members to view “The Wall that Heals.” How fitting since it will arrive during the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War.

Chapters are encouraged to make a visit to this traveling memorial as a Vietnam War anniversary observance.
