A BIG thank you from the State Regent

Dear California Daughters,

It doesn’t seem possible that we have completed the second and final state conference of the Jamison Administration.  This officer had a great time and she hopes everyone who attended did, too!  As you can guess, the state regent has hundreds of thank you notes to write, but in the meantime, she hopes this article reaches members so they know how much she appreciated the many wonderful things that occurred at the state conference.

First, everyone did such a wonderful job on their reports.  You showed up prepared and on time, and your reports were interesting and creative.  Congratulations, to all chapters on their achievements this year!

The bylaws session was lively and educational.  Thank you to everyone who expressed themselves.

Congratulations to chairmen in the exhibit room who finished up a successful term of fundraising, and thank you to all members who contributed to that success.

Thank you very much to our conference pages, many of whom did everything possible during the conference to ensure that the state regent arrived on time to events and meetings, and that she did not have to lift anything.  The invitation to the Page Party was greatly appreciated and it was such a surprise to receive the gift of a professional massage!

This officer sincerely thanks the entire conference committee, and especially Chair Susan Montgomery and Vice Chair Carole Vercellino.  Susan started working on this conference a few days after the first one ended.  A long year of planning resulting in a bee-u-tiful conference!

My gratitude to everyone who made our conference guests feel so welcome.  They had a great time and enjoyed meeting so many of you.

Your words of encouragement and the many gifts you have sent have been so appreciated.  This officer will always have very fond memories of all of the kind and thoughtful gifts and messages she has received during this term of office.
