It is with a great deal of sadness that the California State Society reports the death of Ruth Eleanor Harrison Jones Jorgenson. She passed away on September 24, 2013.

Ruth served as State Regent of California from 1992-1994. She was a member of the Commodore Sloat Chapter, and a member of DAR for over thirty-three years.

There will be a memorial service/celebration of life on October 26, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cypress Community Church, 681 Monterey Salinas Hwy Salinas, CA 93908, (831) 484-2141.

Ruth’s husband, Warren, will be residing at their home in Pebble Beach for a couple more months. Please send condolences to Warren F. Jorgenson, 2816 Sloat Road, Pebble Beach, CA 93953-2621.
