Pat Richard, Regent and Colleen Murphy, Chaplain

Panamint Springs Chapter was again a participant in the annual Memorial Day Observance at the Desert Memorial Park cemetery in Ridgecrest.  The  ceremony was opened with a military Honor Guard and the guest speaker Captain Dennis Lazar, Commander of the Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake. Representatives from 15 organizations present were then escorted one-by-one to the wreath laying area by members of a local Boy Scout troop. Regent Pat Richard and Chaplain Colleen Murphy placed the chapter’s wreath. Once all wreaths were placed “Taps” was played. After the Remembrance Ceremony was completed guests were invited to the American Legion Post for lunch.
