Regent Pat Richard, Chapter & Dist XV Winner Katherine Hall, Maheen Ahmad, Teacher Jackie Ponek.

At the recent awards meeting and luncheon Regent Pat Richard presented Katherine Hall as the 5th Grade American History Essay winner. Katherine is also the District XV winner. For her chapter award Katherine was presented with the Bronze History Medal and for the district award she was given a certificate and $25.00 monetary award. Katherine’s father Spencer was present.  Another participant, Maheen Ahmad, received a Certificate of Participation. Maheen’s mom, Sarah, was present as well. Their teacher from Gateway Elementary School received a Certificate of Appreciation for supporting her students in this essay contest. Katherine and Maheen read their essays for the chapter members.
