An energetic group of daughters in the San Diego Chapter premiered a Basket Bazaar fundraiser recently and raised more than $3,000 for the group, according to the chairwoman Linda de Leon.  With co-chair Carol Wootton, more than a dozen members worked on the project for several months.

Held during the monthly meeting, the silent auction featured more than 25 festively wrapped baskets, and several solo items. From a huge Baking Basket to a Wine Sampler to a down-filled doggy bed, bidding was fast-paced. “Everybody loved the event,” said Wootton.  “It was really a group effort and a fun process.  We need to do it again!”
