State Regent’s Message – February 2013

Dear California Daughters,

This officer has heard a lot of “buzzing” at the meetings she has attended in the last month about our upcoming 105th California State Conference. We are expecting a great turnout. It’s exciting to report that the top executive officer in our organization will be attending for the entire conference! President General Merry Ann T. Wright will deliver the keynote address on opening night, and will also speak to members at the opening business session on Friday morning.

If you are a member of the Heritage Club and are attending the conference, you will receive an invitation to the Heritage Club Breakfast, sponsored by the National Society. Mrs. Wright has held these events all over the country when she visits state conferences, and she looks forward to meeting our members. Staff from the NSDAR Development Office will be attending the conference to answer your questions and to accept donations so you can become a member of Heritage Club.

The reports you will hear at state conference reflect the culmination of all of your good works during the year. The conference is a time for chapters to meet other members, to share ideas, problem solve, and to have fun! See you there!

Bee Inspired and Take Flight!

Debbie
