At a beautiful luncheon setting, eight new members were welcomed into the Point Vicente chapter on December 1, 2012. Meeting at the Luna Rossa Ristorante in Rolling Hills Estates for the annual holiday party, the chapter also listened to speaker George Gaunty from California CRIMEFIGHT give great tips on how to protect yourself presenting “Crime Prevention & Safety during the Holiday Season.”

In December the Point Vicente chapter also welcomed 34 members of the Marines and Navy who were selected by their superiors to take a ride on the Goodyear Blimp “Spirit of America” based in Carson, CA. While waiting for their rides, members enjoyed exchanging stories with the service personnel as well as providing them with homemade helmet liners and plenty of snacks and drinks.
