De Anza Annual Christmas Tea and Auction

The De Anza Chapter held their annual Christmas Tea at the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club on Sunday, December 2.  Brian Stokes, a Son of the American Revolution, drew from historical documents and diaries to speak of Christmas at Valley Forge in 1777.  Guests Adele Lancaster, State Historian, and member of CSSDAR Board of Directors, delivered the State Regent’s Message while Beverlee Stuart-Borok, District XIV Director, brought district greetings.  The Francis Parker Lower School Choir and Strings entertained with holiday selections ranging from traditional to contemporary. Tea was poured by De Anza Daughters Jody Bray, Marykay Burch, Joanne Dudek, and Francie Spears.  A silent auction was held to benefit programs sponsored by the chapter.
