Good Trade-off

Students in the Vista Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts am/pm program are real collectors of pop tabs. The director for the program is Sharon Moore, a member of the Santa Margarita Chapter. Students have been bringing in tabs for over five years and each year they have been rewarded with a pizza party. Wanda Prosser, current chapter regent, and Sharon’s mother, Ruth, also a chapter member, have been delighted to continue this venture. The tabs are turned over to the Presidio Hill Society C.A.R. for recycling with the proceeds going to Children’s Hospital in Orange County. This is one of the student’s first lessons in community service.
