What a wonderful experience at both Northern and Southern Council to meet so many school chairmen.  Thanks so much for stopping by and introducing yourselves. And thank you all for your generous support at the luncheons. Now we will see that the “Rain Drops (don’t) Keep Fallin’ on Their Heads”. We look forward to making sure that this is a dry, safe, and happy environment for our boys at California Pouch Cottage!

A couple of district directors didn’t get  them in the big rush to get home.  If those chapters would contact the DAR School Chairman, she will be glad to snail mail them to you, if you pay the postage. Thank you for stopping by and picking up additional information and for purchasing the pins in support of California Pouch Cottage.

If you missed the pin, then contact the chairman at the address listed on the order form. The form was in the School Packet and is also available online. You will receive a pin for your donation of $25.  These funds are to be used exclusively for the California Pouch Cottage maintenance fund. There is much to work on inside the cottage due to wear-and-tear and water damage from a leaky roof. The storm damaged roof was recently replaced by the insurance company.  

The outings fund is also in need of money. The boys are taken on a little outing once a month. This fund appears on the State Remittance Form. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
