Dear California Daughters,

Thanksgiving and the upcoming holiday season reminds this officer of a favorite quote from scholar W.T. Purkiser (1910-1992): “Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.”

We are so blessed to be members of DAR, to be linked to each other through our ancestors, and to have the opportunity to put our time and talents to work for our communities and our country. It is truly amazing what we accomplish working together.

This officer is thankful for the opportunity to serve as state regent, and is so blessed to be working with our enthusiastic, dedicated, and resolute California Daughters. Happy Thanksgiving!
