Celeste Cox, Jane Zoch, Irene Hobbs, Debra Jamison, and Wanda Prosser

Jane Zoch and Irene Hobbs were busy bees at Southern Council.  They were buzzing around the halls trying to impress the judges with their chapter float which carried the queen bee and a skep that was made by Bee Jane along with many examples of the vegetation that would not exist without the honey bee.  As Bee Jane fanned the queen, Bee Irene carried a sign, “Will Work 4 Pollen.” Both bees are  beeholding to the district cheerleaders for all their encouragement, especially from District XIV Director BEEverlee. All the chapter floats were great.  The judges had a hard job. The jar of honey presented as the trophy for the Director’s Choice Award  will be shared at the next chapter meeting with the other members. The costumes were created by Karon Jarrard.
