Redwood Forest Does Extra Curricular Activity

On Tuesday, September 25, 2012, Redwood Forest Chapter’s Vice Regent, Judy Aronoff, worked with a Washington State chapter on their Constitution Week display. Judy is an Associate Member of the David Douglas Chapter, and participates in chapter activities, including Flag Committee Chair, Stamps for Soldiers, and with her sister, Lynn Dulaney, she designed three posters for their Constitution Week 2012 display at the Monroe City Public Library. The Monroe Monitor, their local newspaper, reads: “Constitution week marked at library – National Constitution week took place Sept. 17-24, and the local chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution got a jump on the celebration, creating this display at the Monroe Library last month. This year marks the 225th anniversary of the creation of the constitution. The display, which was presented to the library by Carol Shorno, Lynn Dulaney, Nancy Strain and Judy Aronoff, includes a copy of the Constitution and information about its creation as well as other educational materials.”
